Night Switch BHA/AHA 10% - Lixir
For Collete Haydon less is often more; products with too many active ingredients confuse the skin, it works too hard, gets tired and gives up. It is better to ask the skin to do one thing at a time, but to do it well. The skin likes a change. An active ingredient used for too long saturates the skin and it no longer delivers results - Switching stimulates the skin to get better results and avoid the plateau effect.
Lixir Skin Night Switch BHA serum contains a blend of three acids specially designed to clarify problem-skin that exfoliate the skin to dislodge dead and strongly pigmented cells and encourage cell turn around to renew the skin. Each acid offers a special benefit - Lactic Acid improves hydration, Salicylic Acid is antibacterial and prevents clogged pores, Azelaic Acid controls sebum.
Your complexion will instantly look plumper and softer, while fine lines, blackheads and blemishes will reduce over time.
How to use: Apply one to two pumps to the affected area and follow with UNIVERSAL EMULSION. Use at night for three weeks, always allow your skin to rest for a few days, then switch to another NIGHT SWITCH, then start again with NIGHT SWITCH BHA/AHA 10%.
You can also use as a mask, apply three pumps on dry skin, leave for ten minutes and rinse.

The LixirSkin way…
Universal skin needs.- The cosmetic industry creates names for products which have the same base and do the same thing - day cream, primer, night cream, moisturiser, serum, etc. and is ever more inventive.
Lixir don't believe in having products dedicated to the face, neck or eye. There is no such thing as a product which is good for one part of your skin and not the other. A
good formula does it all.
Less is More.- Products with too many active ingredients confuse the skin, it works too hard, gets tired and gives up. It is better to ask the skin to do one thing at a time, but to do it well.
Some active ingredients are universally essential to your skin and you can never overdo it. Others are for specific skin concerns, if used for too long they saturate the skin and no longer delivers results. It is good to switch them around to keep the skin stimulated and avoid the plateau effect.
Moving on from the natural vs synthetic battle.- The natural versus synthetic battle is dated - not all chemistry is bad. There are simply good ingredients - safe, effective and formulated correctly, and there are bad ingredients - harmful or ineffective. There is a misconception that natural products should contain many bonical extracts, which actually often have little effect. Lixirskin focus on pure molecules with published clinical results.
